Ok, I feel better now lol. I get my 4th week vl results this coming week so i'm gonna keep my fingers crossed. the being itchy part completely blows goat nuts haha..I'm gonna try non-scented soap and such nad drinking more water..i dont drink nearly enough. I have had my first 3 blood work results and my nurse said everything was back to normal so I guess thats a good sign! thanks!

I'm 28.  I only started to notice sides after I started victrelis.  I could tell I was anemic but they lowered my rib and i'm feeling good again.  No flu symptoms.

1/18/13 -  VL 1.5mil triple therapy with boceprevir

2/3/14 - relapsed. 1.7ml

 

6/28/14 - started solvadi interferon and ribavirin for 12 weeks

7/28/14 - week 4 undetected dosage reduction of rib and peg

 

11/2/14 und 4 weeks post eot

Hello all only posted once a couple months ago when I found out Id start treatment. Im on the 3 drug combo..peg,riba,telepr, and so far ive done 3 shots out of 24. My viral load at start was 33,100 and Im geno type 1a. Im also on a medicine called suboxone. I have been clean nearly 2 years from illicit drugs. I don't really have any side effects other than being itchy. Is this a good thing or is this bad? Im just worried im not doing this right? Oh im 24 and weigh about 140 pounds..health wise im in decent shape..I just dont understand...im not complaining i was just really expecting the worst...could the suboxone block out some of the side effects? Thanks all!! im just worried im not taking them correctly or something!  - dunkin

I have been involved with the forum for 11 months steady And
I have heard others wonder the same thing,
I feel ok is it working?!! I wondered that too!
Your youth is a huge help! Take care of
Your itchy skin by drinking water and use lotions.
There were days I couldn't tell I did a shot!
When u go to doctor for blood work, they will
Check to see if medicine is working.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SICK FOR IT TO WORK!
You will have good days and not so good
But it's doable! Congratulations for 2 years
Clean! That's a blessing.
I am so thankful to be sober too! Sobered up at 27!
