Hey Jo Jo,

XX sorry had this too... a cold pack, or cool cloth helps along with what you are doing... One of the brands of eye drops I used Opthamologist recommended is a product called SYSTANE  it's a lubricating eye drop they are sorta of expensive but they work they have different levels i.e. Long lasting etc.

Here's a tip for EYE emergencies here in the states.. If you go to an ER or Urgent Care generally you have to wait a while for them to call the specialist.. A GF told me if you go to your Local Walmart or any chain store that have an eye doc center in the store generally they can help you on the spot.. 

Another tip there are some natural products oils or such that you can use around your eye w/o irritation..My niece sells a product that's all natural ALOE and I used the product for eye make up removal for my dry itchy eyelids and this helped tremendously...glad it's better... hang in there

It's better today! Benadryl and eye drops seem to be helping!

rest helps a lotWoos glad your eyes have improved. 

Are u on Invicek triple tx??

Good night! I hope it gets better and you can get some rest. If it is still bad in the AM, you may want to think about going to an urgent care or something like that. Just don't forget your med list : )

I have NEVER experienced
Anything this severe! My whole lower lid feels raw
And it's pale pink! I haven't rested much today.
Hopefully on Easter all will improve.
Plan on being at church early
I took Tylenol so heading to bed

I had burning and redness in one eye. I was going to suggest eye drops, but it looks like you have done everything you can before seeing your doc. Have you rinsed it with cold water? Just a suggestion. Hope relief comes soon!!

Has anyone heard of the rash getting around the eye?

My right eye is on fire and the lower lid is  pale pink.

Started  bothering me a week ago and has intensified

Today! I am taking Benadryl and using eye drops

From over the counter for allergies!

My eye is painful. Will go see doctor Monday.

Has anyone experienced this??

In 1 week, I am experiencing the same thing. My upper and lower eyelids are very itchy and red and swollen, it seems like allergic with something. I stop all things for face, use cold water wash face, not use face wash, toner and any face cream. then use aloe gel to cover my eye. and I stop to eat any sea foods. till today, My eyes are amost ok. hope these helpful to you.
