Actually I am only on 600 of rib or 3 pills a day, 2 when I get up and 1 at night.  they are closely monitoring my blood as think I way need the third transfussion if the exprex doe not start bringing up the blood work.  I am trying to build up the legs with walking and stretches only a short distance walking but fairly brisk know that the black flies are out.  will start arms with 2 lb weights with double repetitions.  Yes it feels like their is a light at the end of the tunnel only 12 more shots and maybe 9 more shots of eprex.  Again thanks again for all the support and uinderstanding and information, I have lost 55 lbs so far and just holding my own at 207 lbs.

Hi Bill,

Life must be easy now only taking 6 caps /day instead of 18. Glad to hear you're feeling OK but it's only natural to feel stuffed with your anaemia. Try to keep the exercise up, as it's taken me 13 weeks to get some muscle bulk back in my legs. You're certainly on a weird regime of treatment-good luck for your next VL. Enjoy summer. Cheers.

Hi Bill, great to hear you`re feeling better so quickly after finishing your stint on victrelis, that must be quite a relief.  I should think you`ve got through the hardest part now.  Your ALT is looking very good and let`s hope your blood levels hold up.  Frustrating not being able to do all that you`d like to, but try and take it easy and soak up some of those rays.  You`re getting through your oddball treatment and the end is getting nearer.  Hang on in there, keep us posted...

Well I stopped the Vit horse caps as of Tuesday and surprise I am feeling a lot better, diarreaha has almost stopped and the shedding of skin has stopped.  Alt reading was 28 but even after the two bag transfussion and eprex shots blood dropped from 95 to 83 in one week, platts also dropped but not as low as most of you.  I am still tired but I think that is I have these attacks of stupidity and try to catch up on the last 34 weeks of work around here, it was a real humbling experience when I could not start the chainsaw because did not have the snap in the arms anymore. Anyways 14 more shots of Peg and rib and they are going to monitor my blood to see if I stay on the eprex.  Have a good week all as it is sunny out so I will try to get warm sitting in the sun
