Ed, take 3 deep breaths brother....I don't have direct experience with what is happening to you.  Is there someone you can talk to about this? Put a phone call into the docs and ask for a call back. It sounds like it's being stubborn. but it is working though.,.. Call and ask for a call back.....

Hi all, today the nurse called and said, Hi Ed the VL is still det. My heart started to go real fast at that monent and i had to get myself together. My first thought was damm!!! and then the nurse said the doctor want you to continue on Riba and Peg for another 12 weeks. Is this part of normal treatment????  At my 8 week VL was 370 and now at 12 week I'm at 250 Vl. What a disapointment for me, I  only drop 100 on the VLno.gif. please help

I remember Invicek too well! Glad you
Made it thru it. You will feel much better in few days.
VL seems the longest wait. Focus staying in
The day not the future, that's what I practice.
What ifs---give us anxiety! You got this!

Hey Ed, we are all pulling for you. Congrats on finishing the Incivek, you should notice a lessening of some sides. Hang in there. There is life during treatment. For me the good days were fewer, but there is something to be said for even the tough days.

Venting is good, keep posting. What type of cake do you want for the 12 week UND party?

Good luck, everyone gets a little nervous at VL time. Especially us relapsers.

58 yo..Relapsed in 99 and again in 2004. Started triple therapy with Victrelis July 22,2012.  genotype 1a. week 8,12,16,24 VL Undetectable..E.O.T -- 6-22-2013,,,EOT + 24., UND. 

SVR !!!

Hi all, today makes 12 weeks of triple therapy for me. The last time I posted i spoke about how unhappy i was with my 8 week results, Which they were  still detectable. It took me a couple of day to get over  being detectable along with another battle with anal discomfort which the discomfort is trying to win the battle even  as i write.  I'm happy to be finish the incivek part of tx and  to continue with the peg & riba if thats what i'm told by the doctor.  This tuesday i'm going for blood work and  i must admit that whole week will be nerve racking. I'm praying that i will undectable so  i can continue on my way to achieving SVR.  I will keep ererybody updated in my progress since this is the only way i can really vent.

 

 

 

51 year old, third time on tx 1996, 2004, and 2013, geno type 1a, started tx 3/1/13 at 7.9 mil, 4 week still at 3.3 mil, 8 weeks at #370 det, 12 week ?
