hi all and thanks, this has been very hard for me because the first 12 weeks i never stop working my 40 to 50 hour a week. The side affect ar'nt easy to deal with but i'm stong and i never give up. The one thing that allways stay  with me is i'm a fighter. The good news is I dont have deal with incivek anymore and those side affects.  The side affects of Riba and Peg are a little easier to handle but still i must say Damm Damm for the next 12 weeks because i wont know if i will clear on not since this is the third time on treatment. thanks

Sorry to hear it , but things can change in the other direct as well.

Don't give up , keep as positive as you can and believe in your future, because it has not been wrote yet.

Hoping the best for you.

Matt

Hi all, today the nurse called and said, Hi Ed the VL is still det. My heart started to go real fast at that monent and i had to get myself together. My first thought was damm!!! and then the nurse said the doctor want you to continue on Riba and Peg for another 12 weeks. Is this part of normal treatment????  At my 8 week VL was 370 and now at 12 week I'm at 250 Vl. What a disapointment for me, I  only drop 100 on the VLno.gif. please help

Oh, sorry to hear this, Ed, it must very disappointing for you.  I agree, damn!!  Yes, it is normal practise to continue with tx as long as your viral load is less than 1000 at week 12.   As long as you`re still on treatment you`re still in the game, so don`t despair.

Take care, try and keep your chin up!  smile  xx
