Yes, I have a small one that was found. I just take 10 mg. of Prilosec no biggy.

My Doc said I need to have that done twice in the course of a 48wk treatment. I don't know where the hell the gastritis and ulcers came from and apparently neither does he. I got the basic printout about ASA/NSAIDs from him. I wanted to ask him some more questions about what he found but I was still dopey from the drugs and spaced.

I think the Riba is catching up with me. I think my Doc knows that but he's playing the dummy act and not telling me (psycho move) because out of the blue before I left he says "You'll be off the treatment in 3 weeks" So I waddled out the door with that info.

I also was drinking alot of citric acid (OJ, lime juice etc...) because it tasted good. I'm sure that wasn't helping.

I'll find out in 2 weeks from biopsys and 8 weeks from another Endoscopy. I have no pain or anything. It's wierd.

Other than that I feel pretty good. Loading up on Iron and sleep and thats been the trick for me.

How is your SVR going?

Why did you have a 2nd Endoscopy?

Hi All,

Has anyone experienced Gastric Ulcers while taking Ribavirin? I was diagnosed with them today after my 2nd Endoscopy procedure.
