Your numbers are pretty strong and it sounds like you are holding up well. I worked through tx also. It is always good to remind yourself that aside from the blood labs (which are good indicators) You are still on a strong dose of medications that are killing the virus.

Be gentle with yourself. I'm svr and still have dizziness occasionally. I attribute it to diet. Maybe a protein bar during those times? Eat snacks frequently and see if it helps.
I'm up with the blood pressure thing too. That may have something to do with dizziness.

Take care of you!
Karen:)

Hi Ed,

At 11.5, your Hb level is pretty good. Your blood pressure may be a bit low when you stand suddenly so take it easy. At your next doctor's visit, get him to take your BP lying down, then erect to see whether there is a drop. I'm impressed you're still working- I could barely stand unassisted, and didn't drive a car for my last 28 weeks of Rx. Take it easy.

Yes I still get the same, if I stand at an AA meeting to say lords prayer I almost pass out. Because I was sitting for an Hour.  I think it is because of hemoglobin levels.  mine ran from 75, then a transfussion to now 94, normal range is 130-180

Tig56, the lightheaded/dizziness started about 30 min after my first ever Riba dose. Its really the only sx I'm having...other than the brain fog and bouts of the riba-rage...did I mention the dizziness and fog already.

Im only 3 weeks in and have to do the slow deliberate stand up. The lightheadedness is already like on old friend...and old annoying friend that won't leave, but you have to be nice to, and put up with for the foreseeable months.

Im curious to see my 4 weeks CBC/CMP results. At 2 weeks all blood chemistry was high normal and slowly dropping.
So far it just seems to be a sx of the Riba for me.

I can relate! I'm so lightheaded I don't remember what it's like to feel otherwise. I have to stand up by first starting at the edge of the seat, stand up slowwwwllllllyyy, keep head held lower than my shoulders for a moment or two. Then raise my head as slow as it's required to avoid the dizziness. If I have to bend over or sit down at any point, I have to repeat the entire process!

8 week labs this coming week, 4 week Victrelis. I'm anxious to see the CBC results.

Hi Ed, actually I think you`re doing very well coping with a standing up job for 8 hours a day while on tx!  Feeling lightheaded is quite common while on treatment, would it be possible for you to sit down occasionally or take more breaks?

Good idea to mention it to your doctor anyway.  Take care..

Hi  All, I just finish wk 19 and The last two weeks or so I've been having lightheadedness. On my last blood draw at 16 weeks into Tx

WBC 2.1,

RBC 3.62,

HEMO 11.5,

HEMATOCRIT 34.0,

PLAT 109,

Neutrophils 1044,

lymphocytes 722, and are all low and i'm not sure if this has anything to do with lightheadedness. I'm getting a little worried becuase i work everyday and 95% of the time I'm on my feet{its only 8 hour per day]. Last week i had to hold on to something solid for a couple of seconds and that scared me. I've spoke to family about this and monday i'm calling the doctors office.  What do you guy do to deal with lightheadness??
