Diagnosed 1997, Genotype 1b, unsuccessful tx in 1998 (interferon), 2004 (interferon & riba). Started victrelis/interferon/riba 7/20/2012, finally UND at week 24, will continue for 48 weeks. EOT 6/20/2013 UND, 12 weeks post tx Relapsed

So happy for you.
It took me 8-10 weeks post treatment
To feel better.
I feel splendid these days except for
Joint pain!
Get rested and keep us posted.
I have my 6 month VL test in Oct.

My husband had genotype 1a, 46yo, started triple therapy (peg/rib/vic) 23rd July 2012, VL prior to treatment 14 million, UNDET 12, 24 weeks, EOT 24th June 2013, EOT +1.5 weeks UNDET, EOT +12 weeks & EOT +27 weeks UNDET; SVR January 2014

Very well done, Brian, you did it at last!!!  Getting through a gruelling 48 week stretch of treatment is a fantastic achievement, and now you can start relaxing and concentrating on your recovery!  Wishing you all the very best with your EOT results and SVR, keep us posted, and congratulations!!!  biggrin

That is GREAT NEWS!

I finished my 48 weeks this past March and

I am really feeling almost normal again.

You will begin to feel alot better in a couple of weeks

and it gets much better after that.

Glad you hung in there as I am sure it was rough on you.

Genotype 3.  Treatment started on 1/11/2013 with Ribavirin and Pegatron.  Week 4 UND.  Week 12 UND.  Ended treatment on 6/28/2013.  Six months post treatment 12/04/2013 SVR.

Wow that is wonderful, best of luck to you!!

I am only almost 7  weeks into the therapy with the victrellis at nearly 2 weeks.  Just feeling crappy and a little overwhelmed.  I admire you Lucy!

 geno 1, started peg and riba 7/5/13, now 29th day is vicrellis ***tonib VL started 6 million, after 5 weeks 374,000, after 8 weeks 150,000....the big test for VL is 9/27 at 12 weeks  TAKEN OFF THERAPY JUST NOT WORKING FOR ME...12 WEEKS STILL HAVE 9000 VL

It was tough in the beginning with the Incevek almost killing me due to a internal rash. After the Incivek it got so much better just tired and cranky. 

Drink the water!

I wonder what normal will feel like? I'll check back in a few weeks.
