Good news indeed, time is flying 12 weeks, 24 weeks seems long in the beginning but in the end we ask where did it go.

He has decided on ending at 28 weeks, Dec. 04th. I guess if I have to go through treatment again, it'll be half the time with far less SFX! Let's hope that doesn't have to be considered! Thanks for the congrats, you've been a shining light through this entire journey! The support from everyone has been first class!!

Thanks everyone for all your good wishes!!!

It feels good to get that 12wk result!! It makes being on treatment a little easier knowing the treatment is working and the outcome has a good chance of being successful!!!

So, I'll just keep truckin along! Thanks again for everything!!!smile

I just got some good news yesterday via voicemail It was from my Hepa's office and the results of my 24 week VL was Undetectable!!! Sweet music to my ears!!   

My thanks goes out to all of you that have been there as we have all moved forward! Your support has been fantastic and together we'll all reach our goal!

Hi everyone,

Just got my 12wk VL results: Undetected!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! I'm very happy!biggrin All my other blood work has been in the low normal range which is expected being on treatment.

I would like to thank all my fellow friends here at the forum for all your encouraging, supportive and compassionate words. And mostly for being here for each other.  Best of luck to those on treatment and at the end of treatment!!! "We're in it to WIN IT!!!!!". "And we will!!!!"

Thanks everyone!!!

Hi Mallani, my regular blood work 2 wks ago was:

Hemoglobin: 120

Red Cell count: 3.6

White Cell count: 3.2

AST: 24          ALT:18

I go for reg blood work once a month now and my next VL test is at 24wks.

I am on triple treatment with the victrelis for 48 wks, as I relapsed at the end of 48wks on double treatment with peg/rib in 2008 and my fibroscan showed a F3-F4.

The hepatitis nurse said I had a 68-79% chance of clearing the virus with a undetected @ 12wks.

The treatment is definitely working and I hope things keep going in the right direction!!!

With time we'll all beat this thing!!!

Another thing, I just found out I have another grandchild on the way! Due June30/14. That will be #5. I now have 3 grandsons ages 9,4 & 2 1/2.  1 granddaughter 2 months. 2 daughters 32 & 30.  I have lots to look forward to and live for!!!smile
