The riba rash is pretty annoying. It seems to move around and flare up when I get overheated. I am sure that you are extremely happy to be almost done with incevik! I hope the rest of treatment is much better for you.

And it will save making breakfast so I won't have to get up! I'll just bring a spoon to bed tonight! And the gravy... What a great idea to add the fat content. This may be the start of a new fad!

Hey,

Maybe we're onto something! Use some oatmeal, potato flakes and rub ice cubes all over the area til a nice paste forms, take a Benadryl and by morning the itch will be gone and breakfast will be ready!! Just have some syrup or gravy handy and you're ready to serve!! Woot!! And you thought I let this brain fog go to waste, ha, ha!!!

I used to rub ice cubes over my skin, may need help with your back (!) and it numbed it giving me some relief and stopped me scratching which is the worst thing.

Oatmeal baths are supposed to be soothing. Can identify with your avatar at the mo !!!!!

NO SCRATCHING!!!!!!!

My riba rash had come and gone off and on though out tx. No back scratcher. that will just make it worse. If you can manage not to scratch it will go away. I put gold bond on mine if it gets to itchy. After all this time I'm fairly good at not letting it get to me.

DON'T SCRATCH...or do your best not to.

Gracie,

There's a problem with that... You can't scratch!!! If you do it will get worse, much worse. My best way to minimize the discomfort was to take cool showers, put calamine, caladryl,  or an oatmeal based skin lotion on it. Your doctor can prescribe something as well. I also used Zyrtec (Certrizine), an OTC antihistamine that doesn't make you drowsy. If you don't mind the drowsiness (helps you sleep too) try Benadryl. Doctor approved of course, but they generally have no problem with them. DON'T SCRATCH!!!

confuse

The RIBA rash has creeped onto my back. The itch that I can't reach is driving me nuts! Does the RIBA rash come and go, or am I going to have to put up with it for the entire treatment? I need to invest in a back scratcher, if my brain fog will allow me to actually remember that while I'm out so I can pick one up.... Lol.
