Hi Susan, welcome back!  smile

It`s good to hear that your hubby is doing well and is now going for the Sovaldi/Olysio drug combo.  We have several members currently doing this treatment and responding very well and with minimal side effects.  I`m sure other people will be happy to let you know how they`re finding it too. 

Do let us know how your hubby`s appointment goes with Dr Kumar, and best of luck!

I am on that Tx now but with ribavirin as well. So foar week 2 it has been very easy to handle and the very promising results from those ahead of me are a great encouragement.
My liver may be more damaged than DH but I firmly believe this stuff is working since I actually feel better on Tx than before.

I have not posted for a while but have been looking in.

DH needed to go another round of Rutuxin for SMZ-Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma.

He had a good response and doctor suggested to seek treatment for HCV sooner than later. The doctor that did triple treatment said DH is a good candidate for the Sovaldi/Olysio treatment off label but we must go to Weil Cornell in NYC to see Dr. Kumar.

He got an appointment. What should we expect? His liver is in good shape but HCV fuels the Lymphoma .
