Hi Drexel,

Your test results indicate the virus was detected but was so low that it fell below the quantification level of the test. In this case the test would have been able to provide a quantifiable number down to the lowest level of 15 IU/ml. Below that all it can tell you is that is was detected. So you should in all likelihood be completely undetectable by your next test. You've got good reason to be very pleased right now! Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

Think it means it's detected, but below the value that they can give a number to which in your case is below 15. Very very low amount and for sure it's working! You are on your way to SVR!

Undetected at week 2 on solvaldi/rib/interferon:  stayed through week 12 but virus came back as soon as I stopped.  on   Harvoni and ribravirin 24 weeks undetected after two. 8/2/15  12 week EOT  UNDETECTED!  SVR

I got the following Lab results after  4 wks on Sovaldi and Olysio:

 

Does anybody know what these results mean:

 

HCV ,RNA,QN,PCR                  <15                     IU             <15G

*Detected below the limit of Quantitation

Hey John,

Congratulation my friend!!!! It's amazing how fast all of you are going undetectable. These treatments with a Sovaldi backbone are incredibly effective. It won't be long and we'll start seeing these new protocol's including a guarantee in the paperwork! I'm so happy for all of you.
