Thanks for the replies, Wayne and Matt. Getting excited now. Been feeling so tired and achy, hoping that will turn around soon.

55 y/o, GT 1A, 1.4 million UI, cirrhosis, low platelets, enlarged spleen, high LFTs. Failed tx x2. 12 weeks Sovaldi/Olysio. Undetected end of treatment and 4 weeks after EOT!

Hi Audrey,

I'm sure Matt's right. It will be something like a pharmacy consult. They'll want to make sure you take the Olysio with food, watch sun exposure, drink lots of water, etc. There are a handful of drug interactions to watch out for, but very few really. You won't want to be adding any new medications or supplements without first checking with them, anyway.

Hey Audrey

I would guess that its the when, where and how of taking the meds. Of course with your experience with therapy you know more than most but the new DAA's are different so they want to do there due diligence.

I get my meds tomorrow but was told not to open them until I get the phone call from someone (nurse or pharmacist?) to receive the "med training".  Is this just a formality? What's to tell? No injection training. Just curious (and anxious).
