Thank you all for your kind words & support. I am so grateful for this forum & all the people in it. I am officially on my first day post treatment & the one thing I immediately noticed was no spinning, foggy, sick feeling in my head that usually came about a little after taking Sovaldi in the morning. That is pretty awesome in itself.

Great news, Angie! It's a liberating feeling to be done with it. Now, to a future full of better things. Be well. wink

Angie--

I read the last paragraph on your bio from time to as it makes me feel better. It has become a credo for me during tx. Don't know where it came from, but I thank you for introducing it to me.

Best wishes for your new future.

(I really have a hard time writing anymore, I bet you know the feeling)

Well done Angie, really pleased you`ve finished now, congrats!  It hasn`t exactly been easy for you but you made it!  biggrin

I think coming to the end of treatment often brings mixed feelings, huge relief and sense of achievement of course, but also after spending however many weeks so focused on taking pills and shots at the right time and coping with side effects etc all of a sudden it all stops and we have to readjust back to our `normal` lives.  You`ll soon start to feel a lot better though and those weeks on treatment will become just a distant memory!

Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery and best of luck with your EOT results and SVR!!

Hey Angie,

Congratulations!!! You've been working on this day for a long time and here it is, woot!! Now it'll take a few weeks or so for all of these meds to clear your system, but you're going to notice some nice changes as your system clears. Things will start tasting better, sleep patterns will improve and the routine of pills and shots will just go away. I enjoyed turning off all of my alarms more than anything. I had my alarm tone set to sound like crickets and I was so happy to not have to listen to another cricket, lol! Now when I hear a cricket, it brings back all those memories and the first thing I do is reach for my phone, ha, ha!! Enjoy life returning to a bit more normalcy, you've earned it! Good luck....

Hey Angie

Making it to the EOT can brings two feelings, the good feeling of completing a great long task and the other is your on your own and your body has to take over which will at your young age be a snap. Eat healthy and stay happy and your on your way.

Congratulations Angie. I know itmust feel strange, afterall, our worlds revolved around taking these meds for the duration of tx. It becomes automatic. I think you will do just fine. So, sit back and let the better feelings come.

Welcome to the finish line, Angie.  I finished 11 days ago. I was still a little anemic but am doing spinach & fruit smoothies every a.m., feel more energetic every day.  Itching has really subsided.

It feels so good to be on this side of treatment.  Congrats to you and success to us all!

JUST TOOK MY LAST PILL.  I'm free biggrin!!! Looking forward to better days now. Thanks for everyone's support through everything.  You have all helped me more than you know. I got my blood work done today and my next labs will be in August for the final hcv test. I hope this Sovaldi mix worked it's magic on me. It's going to be strange not taking my morning meds tomorrow! It's crazy how you get so used to it.
