Hey Matt,

Good to hear that you're still in the fight! The brain fog can get heavy on your protocol, just do your best to see through it. 4 more months and you've got it done. It's a battle worth winning my friend and you can do it. Keep us informed of your progress and remember we're here for you if you need anything! Continued good luck...

Hi Matt

Congratz on the half way mark. You sound well armed to deal with what might present itself on your path. Communicating with others is important now as it will keep you from spending to much time in that medicated bubble that tends to keep you "inside yourself". I know you know what I mean as only one that has traveled  that road can understand. Keep on keeping on.

Best wishes.

Hi Matt,

I'm glad to see you're progressing though the grueling triple treatment gauntlet, and maintaining a winners attitude. Getting those UND results along the way is a great motivator, keep 'em coming!

Cheers,

Tim

Hi there, Matt,

It`s so good to hear how well you`re coping, and I can understand what you mean about the mental side effects being the most difficult aspect and therefore the most important to get on top of.  Getting through a 48 week protocol is a really tough challenge for anyone and you must be so relieved to be over the halfway mark now.

I like what your psychologist said, that you only have the resources to to look after yourself and not everyone else, and I think that`s an important thing for many people to realise while on tx, especially while on a difficult and demanding stretch such as you`re doing.  This is your time and you need to do whatever you can to make things less stressful for yourself.  It won`t last forever and will be so worth it, I`m sure!

Thank-you so much for such an encouraging post, and belated congrats on your 24 wk Und result!  smile

Keep in touch and all the best of luck!

Hi Matt,

I forget we have another Aussie struggling through the 48 week triple, but at least your Incivek is over. As Tig says, this is a tough protocol.

How's your Hb holding up? As you say, it's a mental struggle and you seem to be coping well. Keep trucking on mate. It's worth it. Cheers from Brisbane.

Hey Matt,

That's great news mate! It's a tough protocol that you're dealing with and I'm glad you've found the strength and resources necessary to win this battle and you will!  You're well past halfway, that must make you very happy, well done! Thanks for the positive input, it really does make a difference. Keep up the fight Matt and stay in touch. I'm anxious to hear your next report! Good luck friend!

its now 28 weeks and since around the half way mark at 24 weeks i have become more and more in control of the nasties.

i struggled more mentally than physical even though the sick head ache fluey feeling was still there it was the metal anguish i needed to conquere and believe me it has worked no end to date.i discussed exactly what i was going through i mean exactly with my phycolagist and she armed me with tools to try and relax. And let this thing take its course reminding me there is an end and you only have the resourses to look after you not everyone like i was still doing .

i really to hope the ones that are struggling read this and just talk to people and try help them to understand how you are feeling that is another key tool is you must tell people how you feel especialy your loved ones it really does help

hope my input helps

warm regards Matt
