Hill,

I have also heard members here discuss the benefits of electrolyte solutions with the headaches. I remember the discussion included the suggestion to use a sugar free product. There are some powders available that can be carried with you and mixed when desired. That would make it easy to always have available. Google sugar free electrolyte powders, there are several options available.

I am starting my 2nd week.  I had a couple of slight headaches and feel a little tired in the afternoon, but I have a stressful job so this isn't unusual anyway.  I try to avoid taking anything for the headache and fortunately a little coffee seems to help.  I feel very fortunate that this has been it so far.  I am sleeping better too, though I did start to get a bladder infection. (Need more water)  I took some antibiotics that I had from my last one.  Does anyone know if antibiotics have any impact on the harvoni?  I take the haravoni at night.  After about 40 minutes I feel a little spaced out, then really cold, then I fall asleep.   Best of luck to all..

I had some major headaches a few times.  Like nothing to do but head to bed in a dark room.  That is when I did take a couple Tylenol.  But it only happened a few times during treatment.  It wasn't everyday or even every week.  I did notice when I had one, my blood pressure was up from the normal range.  And drink tons of water!

Hillary, the headaches are very common with the Harvoni.  I am reaching the home stretch in my 24 weeks tx and still get them, though they seem to come and go.  You've got a great prize awaiting at the end of your ride. Light at the end of the tunnel.  Good luck.

Hi all. So I started last Wednesday and take my pill at 6:30.  After 15 minutes later or so, I begin to feel fluish which is usually accompanied by a headache. I'm okay with that.  For a few months I can be a home body as long as I can work.  I'm a teacher and need to feel reasonably good during the day and this has been the case.  Until today.  I woke up with a horrible headache. Took advil and went to work.  Felt lousy all day and still do.  Hoping this won't last, as others have reported the side effects as being like a roller coaster. Thought?

On the up side.  I picked up my blood work from the doctor and my viral load is in the 200,000s, so my doctor says I may only need to be on this for 2 months.  So, 7 weeks to go....I HOPE!

I am so very grateful for this opportunity and pray that is works. Thanks for listening.
