Thanks Tig,

After a year of wondering, I'm finally starting to feel hopeful again. I know it will be a fight to probably get started on this new treatment, but I'm ready for it! My co workers must have thought I was weird as I got so excited when she called, then had to say "nothing" when they asked what my news was.. Lol. Nobody but you guys can understand how these things can give you a boost!

Maybe boarding a train is sooner in my future than I expected.... biggrin

Hey Gracie,

Thats great news! So glad they have a service that can provide portable Fibroscans. Its kind of bizarre how this came to town exactly when you needed it. I don't believe in coincidence much. Things happen for a reason and this is going to provide you the information you need to know and do it easily. You should hopefully have some answers by the end of the month or shortly thereafter. Let us know as soon as you hear something. Good luck!

Well, after researching where in this beautiful large country where I could go to get a Fibroscan done, I got a call today from my new gastro doc's nurse that one is coming to town!!!! Imagine, a portable fibroscan machine. And they booked me for it! It's so weird, on one hand I'd like to be F2 or higher so I can get treatment, BUT if I was F1, that would be awesome too. A bit nervous I am, but happy that I am moving forward with my fight! Going on the 29th of this month! Yikes!
