Hey O,

Thanks for the update! I'm glad you spoke with your doctor and had a meeting of the minds. It sounds like you got the help and advice you needed. It won't be long now and you wont have to deal with this any longer.

Take it as steady as possible and relax to the end of treatment as best as you can. You're almost there!!

man, I've had a few wild, lsd-ish dreams on vikera pak. Also, seen weird lsd like patterns when eyes closed. But these have been very rare...maybe twice.

Happened more on interferon.

Weird stuff.

Hi there, Obsessing...

So sorry to hear of these weird experiences you`ve been having, I can imagine it must be very scary for you.   I tend to agree that they`re most likely a result of your Harvoni pills interacting with your other medications, on top of the fatigue and stress you`re experiencing.  Anxiety and worry on their own can cause many strange symptoms, and I do think you should let your doctor know how you`re feeling as soon as possible.

Hang on in there, you`ve only got a few more days on treatment, thank goodness, then the recovery process will begin and you`ll gradually find yourself returning to your usual self and state of mind.

Do your best to stay calm, and remember that this won`t go on for much longer and things will get better!  You`re doing very well sticking it out, well done!

Remember we`re here for you any time, whenever you need to talk to someone... smile

Are you taking your  ADHD. Meds as prescribed?  They sure will cause the symptoms you describe in higher doses

Try not to worry. You are almost home

Hey Obsessing,

I have heard from some people that they have had some very bizarre reactions to these new treatments. Most experience the fatigue you describe in varying degrees and there may be some adverse reactions occurring between your different medications. Your doctor/pharmacist really are the only people that can confirm this. You might ask your doctor to contact Gilead for their opinion. You could too, but your doctor or pharmacist may get farther with them.

The good news is you have been undetected since week 4. You've got less than a week to the EOT date and then your body will have the opportunity to clear the Harvoni from your system. It will take a couple of weeks for that to occur, fortunately the half life of Harvoni isn't that long. Once you have given enough time for the drugs to clear out, you should start to feel better. Let your doctor know how you're feeling tomorrow and if you can count on someone to help you through the next two or three weeks, do it. Your safety is what's most important. Hang in there, this is almost over!

I don't want to scare anyone who's taking or will be taking Harvoni. I'm very sensitive to all meds and as mentioned this could be from something else. I'd rather have have side effects than a lifetime of battling the virus.

Hi all - I'm not sure if these side effects are from Harvoni or one of the psych meds I take. I've been very anxious on Harvoni and do not get much sleep. So some of what I'm feeling could also be from sleep deprivation.

The main side effect is sudden fatigue to the point that I need to lay down and take a quick 10-15 minute nap. I've fallen asleep during a conversation and also on the phone. I've never fought so hard to keep my eyes open. Now I'm start to have some mild hallucinations like pictures on the walls becoming 3D and just a couple of hours ago I was convinced that there was a rat under my bed. I'm also talking to people in my sleep (whenever I get sleep). My sister has been with me and I told me she wanted to take me to the emergency room because I was so out of it an wasn't making sense. I've never experienced forms of psychosis. My psych meds are for mood stabilization and ADHD. I've cleared these meds with my doctor and the specialty pharmacy before treatment began.

Has anyone had such these rare side effects from Harvoni. I'm done with 12-week treatment on Wednesday and panicking about the test results. At 4 weeks, the virus was undetectable and my ALT and AST were in normal range. At 8 weeks, my ALT was out of normal range but only marginal.
