Thanks Robert,

It can have all the time it needs to clear my system, just so long as it takes all the virus with it.

Hey Matt, Tig, Jill, Mike, Scruffy, Bubble & all the other great folks here on the forum,

Have I told you lately how much I appreciate y'all?  It would have been a lot harder to get through tx without you guys and your knowledge, humor, and compassion.  Thanks so much.

smile Penny

Congratulations Penny on your end of treatment. I can second that riba crap! Give it some time to clear your system.  Will be waiting on your post treatment results. RC

Good Job

Mr. Riba likes to hang around for 5-6 months. But you will feel the difference after a couple of weeks. You'll be spending more money at the food store for sure :)

So the day you thought would never come did. Imagine that. biggrin  No more riba-crap. You've done fine and that SVR day will come too. Just keep taking care of yourself and be patient. Mr riba rarely makes a speedy exit. You got this. Congrats on your EOT achievement Penny!

Well done, Penny, that`s great!!

I think you and your hubby have come to the right decision, go easy and give yourself time to let those nasty drugs get out of your system.  They`ve done their job, and no-one misses Mr Riba when it`s time for him to leave!

Looking forward to hearing good news from your EOT lab results, take care and keep us updated!  smile

Hi Matt,

Getting some of the old energy back will be wonderful.  As well as clearing some of this brain fog.

We need to go to Texas in a week to wrap up some stuff at the campground co-op we bought into a couple years ago.  We had planned on driving our motor home and calling it a mini fall vacation.  Until we realized what a hazard we'd be, hurtling our 25,000 pound rig down the highway at 60 miles an hour, both of us in a riba induced brain fog, trying to agree on which way to turn.  no

After two weeks of discussion on this matter, we finally decided we, and everyone around us, would be much safer if we just drive our little pick up truck.  Sometimes it's good to know ones limits.  But in six months, you better believe we'll be loading up the kayaks and heading....somewhere!  biggrin

Penny

Hey Penny

Congrats on completing your treatment, your on to the next phase. "The Waiting Game"

Stay active and keep your good health habits, it will likely take two weeks to get back some of the energy that the Ribavirin has zapped.

Final dose just went down the hatch!  EOT labs tomorrow, then the wait begins.

Bye-bye mean Mr. Riba and your nagging old cough.
