It is a very good news to all Hep C sufferers. I approached Incepta before but it was difficult to get Twinvir imported. So, turn to have Hepcinat LP by Netco instead.

Welcome to the forum! I'm thrilled to hear you have started treatment and responded so quickly. These new medications are fabulous at reducing the viral count rapidly and thus far has led to SVR in the majority of people fortunate enough to get it. I'm very glad you were able to get the Twinvir generics at such a good price. We have been discussing the generics a lot and look forward to easier access to them for everyone, everywhere!

I live in Cambodia. 3 months ago I flew to Dhaka, Bangladesh. I went to the head offices of the Incepta Pharmaceutical Corporation. With my doctor's prescription I was able to purchase a 6-month supply of their generic Harvoni product called Twinvir. It cost me about 11 USD per tablet. The next day I flew home. After 2 weeks on Twinvir I had a blood test. The result was no HCV detected. Also, my liver functions had improved. After 6 weeks I had another blood test. The results showed no HCV detected, and liver functions had improved a lot more. Now after 3 months, I've had another blood test. The results still show no HCV detected, and liver functions are approaching normal. I haven't experienced any bad side effects. I am doing 6 months since I have stage 4 fibrosis, and for the price of Twinvir, I'd rather not have to deal with ribavirin and the side effects it brings. My doctor, who was literally quite shocked on seeing my blood test results after 2 weeks, started recommending it to other hepatitis C patients. Today he wanted to let me know that all of them, including those who had relapsed from previous treatments on interferon, showed no HCV detected after 2 weeks of treatment. He also mentioned that many doctors here are getting their patients on Twinvir. I hope that this information will be helpful to any who need harvoni, but can't afford the price elsewhere.
