Thanks for the tea recipe! I haven't ever tried a ginger iced tea, that's an interesting one. If you want to try a homemade ginger ale, we have a good one that can be found HERE. It has helped a lot of people with their nausea. Read the whole thread, we had a good talk about it.

This is a good post. I just posted in someone else's thread about my special iced tea that I make and I swear it's been helping me with side effects.

Basically it's fresh ginger sliced up, fresh lemon, green tea teabags or black tea teabags

I use 6 to 8 teabags ( six teabags for 1 quart/8 teabags for 2 quarts - more or less to taste )

I will put like 3 cups-4 of boiling water over teabags, fresh sliced ginger, sliced up lemon-squeeze the juice out of the lemons first or you can use prepackaged lemon juice. Let all of that steep for like 10-15 minutes, then fish out the lemon and the teabags I keep the ginger in for a little longer but you don't have to, then fill the rest of your container up with cold water. Then use a natural sweetener to taste. I use something called "whole earth nature sweet - stevia and Monk fruit" or you can use coconut sugar or that aguave syrup or honey or real sugar whatever you want but I prefer the as close to natural stuff as I can get .

I make it a little ginger and lemon heavy because the natural ginger really helps me with nausea and stomach upset and the lemon really helps with digestion and cleansing

1-2 quart pitcher should remain fresh for about a week. After seven days are usually make a brand-new one

It is important though to let the ginger and lemon and teabags steep in the boiling hot water before you put the cold water on top.

I played around with the amounts a few times before I found what I personally enjoyed the taste of so you may have to do the same

We have discussed the health benefits of lemon water many times. It is not anti viral, but it is quite useful for digestion and hydration, among other things. Here is a link to one such post:

Lemon juice normally cleans the liver, but I don't know weather it'll have any effect on Hep C.

The meds really don't need any help. Just being compliant nd hydrated does the trick.

3/4 glass of Coconut Water and 1/4 Raw Cranberry Juice. None of the sweetened stuff, natural pure Organic. wink

Can somebody please tell me if its okay to drink lemon juice while on treatment. Also, what, if anything, is possibly considered  helpful to you while your on the treatment. RIBA, Sol, Daklinza.....I drink plenty of water and a daily kale, spinich, beets, pineapple, blueberry smoothie......Anything that actually gives the meds some help? Thanks All......At end of week one......feel extremely confident......Right now at least
