Hey Box,

So glad you posted!

I had NO idea you would be doing this good, this fast! AND "back" to work?? I had NO idea you were working, wanted to work, or "planned" on returning to a job - i thought you were long retired for some reason - well, for one reason, because of all your earlier preoccupying health issues (prior to getting your TP and all fixed up on the new now!), I was just a little surprised for some reason to hear you say that you were working again - good for you! Also, your sig line says you are 65, so, thought maybe retirement was already happening for you.  Some people never retire, even when they are tired! I am thrilled you are feeling good and well enough to be working - GRAND IN-DEED! I, for one, am a bit glad about the extra 30 lbs you got (just look at it as insurance) a healthier and more stocky substantial for you to weather any ailment that may surface, besides, you were underweight at one point, were you not?

What you got was a miracle, to be able to survive all of what you have had to, and recover, and I agree - thank god for good and easy effective hepc treatments now being doled out quickly to save people from having to have TP's. But thank god for TP science!

How are the tomatoes and yer hubs and the dogs and the other creatures?

Nice to hear your good news.  : )  C.

Wow, Tig and Boxers.  I didn't realize how much you have been through!  It is, indeed, amazing.  Thanks for all of the education, courage, and fortitude you have given to us all.  Really.  That's a big deal.

It's amazing to hear you're back to work already! Simply incredible! I remember when you started here and the trials and concerns you experienced throughout your journey. You absolutely impressed us all then with your strength and even more now. You brought the term "Warrior" to a new level. You're good people, Boxers and one tough Warrior! You and RC provided us with a personal insight into what we all may have had to go through and proved to us that it could be accomplished with faith, trust and the best medical teams available.

I am soooo happy that they finally have effective treatment for almost everyone. I hope everyone at risk gets tested to avoid this God awful journey.

Good to hear from you, boxers. We're hanging in in case anyone needs support with their HCV treatment. These days people are cruising through the new treatments. That's good news, but it's always good to hear from the old slayers.

Congratulations on getting back to work -and the return of hair. Keep up the good work!

Cheddy

Sorry I haven't been here for so long, just want to say thank you a million times over for all the support through my ordeal, meant so much. I have passed two CT scans, numbers good, on 3.5mg. Tacrolimus every 12 hours, went back to work at the hospital, on call position, that is all I wanted and my hair grew back. Life is good Unfortunately, I gained 30#, for the life of me, can't get rid of it. I guess that is one of the side effects of the Tac. I will have to live with. Enough about me, I hope everyone is doing well and fighting the fight, stay ! You all are the best!
