You guys are my family, and I have so enjoyed reading your remarks. Now, take a look at this crazed wildman (in the photo, attached). This was at the ski slopes on MLK Monday while teaching adaptive snowboarding to some Warfighter Sports Program participants. Wish I could make it stand up instead of lay down, but it just won't cooperate.

Excellent result. We need some kind of data base to keep track of the results to compare to the documented results we keep reading about.

Think this will be a good year for us !!

Alan, Kudo's. I really need to hear outcomes like yours. As a third timer, my big fear is that I won't get to SVR. Anytime someones has to drop out or relapses - of course I gloom on to that and think it will happen to me.

Your SVR is it like being in a meeting and seeing someone get a medallion, it shows that it can be done. Gives us all hope.

Saturday and Monday were spent at Whitetail Mountain Resort teaching adaptive snowboarding to a class of four Warfighter Sports guys. By Monday evening these guys were on the intermediate slopes and cutting up the mountain. What a great feeling to see your students do so well in such a short time. Then when I returned home I received an email from my nurse practitioner saying the last bloods came back UND, so I have achieved SVR. I just sat there and grinned. This morning the grin is still there. Preparing for a short trip to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL to do some network integration work, coming home Friday evening. I suppose that is when the real celebration will begin.

I have to take a moment to thank all you wonderful folks for helping me through this whole ordeal. I was blessed to find you. Now the work of maintaining some liver function remains, and I look forward to it.

Alan

Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. And Tim, the grin is something like a mule eating briars. If you ever saw one pulling his lips back to keep from getting stuck with the briars, that's me. Lotta' teefs.
