Hello Malcom,

Yes sir, that's the info I am getting from the nurse. She said I shouldn't worry about it, but that's easy for her to say. She just said she was already assuming I wasn't 100% clear, and that's why they wanted me on the 48 wk treatment. She said it was probably a glitch on the first one and they should have put <15 detected instead of <15 undetected. And yes, I am assuming it was same lab. Going through VA and nurse just said lab was in California.

Any way, I am patient, as long as it doesn't take too long, so will just chill til next test and it should give a little more info. Will let you know.

Hoping your recovery is going well, Watch that heat,

Hi John,

Do you mean you were Undet. at 2 weeks (i.e. at week 6), after 2 weeks of Incivek triple, but now Det <15 after week 4 of Incivek? Is it the same Lab? I've never seen an Incivek triple patient go from Undet. to Det. while on treatment. Let us know your next results. Cheers.

Thanks Kellie, Laura,

Hmm now got my next set of results and they show <15 detected. Not unhappy with that, but was hoping for undetected straight thru. Now have to wait until end of Jan for next vl test. Wont be able to think about any thing else until then. Ha Well like I used to tell my son, Good thing its hard,if it was easy every one would want to do it.

Well, hope every one else is also doing well, got to get off here and find some fat, uggg, then get to bed and get some rest. Got a big date this weekend. Wife is having a wedding shower at house, so I get to take 9 year old grand daughter out for dinner and movie. Shes so funny, been making new rules for it all week. Think she will be only slightly cheaper than that $28,000 bottle of Sovaldi.

This is great news to start the New Year's with.

Maybe one day none of us will have to be worried about Hep C and patients will be given a pill that clears the virus in a matter of hours or days, not even weeks or months or years...

I wishes and prayer are 100% SVR for everyone!

Happy new years!

And Malcom nurse said she did order viral count at end of lead in, and I was in for blood testing, but didn't get results on it. Will post if she does get them. Am also curious.

Hi John,

Great news- RVR it is!  Just for interest, did you have a VL done after the lead-in?  RVR for Incivek is defined as being Undet. after 4 weeks, so you're on your way.  Just for interest, all Forum Members with an Incivek RVR went on to SVR, if they completed the course! Keep truckin'. Cheers.

Hey John

Congrats, its a day you will never forget so enjoy the feeling it can help you cruise to the finish.

Whatever the term might be, the UND reading shows you are responding well to the meds and thats very important.

When I began treatment, I was to start on Bocep. but after 4 week lead in doc decided I would do better on Incivic., so I started it at end of 4 week. Got my vl results today for 2nd week of Incivic, it showed undetected. Woo-hoo,lol. Question is, ... Is this a RVR,?  Cant really find any info of any one else doing it this way.
