52 yo. Genotype 1a. 1.500.000 VL. Fibroscan : 8 . Probably I infected in 80s. I´ve never been treated. I've started Harvoni, 9/02/2015. 12 weeks.

CONGRATULATIONS GRACIE!!! on your 8 wks undetected!!! That is great news! It makes the unwanted side effects seem to be tolerated better knowing the treatment is working.smile Keep up the great work and great news!!! And to know we're not alone going through treatment helps too. I'm at 30wks now. We're all in this fight together! And, we can do it!!!

Gracie, Being 8 week negative is a wonderful thing, will be looking to see that turn into SVR! Woot woot!

Thanks everybody. It's so weird. I thought when I heard those words that I would jump for joy and dance around screaming. I am happy of course, but feel like its not real. Like its a false negative...lol. Like there is no way 8 weeks of pills could rid me of something I've had for so many years. Anybody know what I mean? Still have a long way to go to SVR, but certainly think I've past a hurdle. More hopeful to someday see those three letters at the end of my signature... SVR....

Well, just got the news. I am negative for hep c as of week 8. This has given me some renewed energy and hope! Now.... To keep it that way!
