Do you need Incivek - we have a spare 168 tablet dose
Permalink Closed

Hello Trefen,

I live in the UK so I`m late coming into this discussion because of the time difference.  However, I fully agree with what others have said that we cannot allow treatment drugs to be sold or even given away via this forum.  Not only is it against the law but also there would be no guarantee that the incivek would be used correctly and under medical supervision and therefore it would be totally irresponsible for us to condone it.

I do appreciate your dilemma but I`m afraid we cannot help you with this.  I`m now reclosing this thread and would suggest that if anyone has any further relevant comments please could they contact myself or one of the other Forum Moderators.

With all best wishes to you and your wife Denise.

Regards, Jill

Hello Denise,

I've been following the conversation and am sorry that we simply can't allow you to offer these medications for sale or free distribution via the forum pages. It's a very kind gesture on your behalf but it's also against US law and the forum can't be allowed to permit the discussion to continue. As was mentioned, you might contact your physician, some states will allow you to turn over medications to them. The information has been submitted to our forum administrator, Cinnamon Girl, and the ultimate decision and future actions will be made by her. Until such time, I am closing this thread and request no more discussion on the subject via the forum. Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

Actually that was the first thing we tried.  Denise's doctor, being part of a school (VCU), had his own rules and couldn't do it.  He also said he didn't currently have anyone on this triple path being that it is sort of specialized.

That's why we thought of going nationwide in a forum.

I am with Caryn on this one,, your Dr. can hand them to anyone they choose, they have a lic. and you can certainly give unused meds back to your Dr.

Thanks Matt - that's fair.

Let's not trash this stuff if it will save someone because of government rules aimed at drug abuse.  Those rules were not aimed at stopping life saving medications.  They get in the way because rules are hard to draft to be perfect.  And reasonable people know that.  And our societies judges are reasonable people for the most part.

We could just post it and tell people to call.  I can deliver or they can pick up if anyone is really afraid that our government would dare jail us for trying to ship it.

Our government fought 'us' on Marijuana and is finally losing as the 'us' are becoming the government.  To even try to fight us on something like Incivek would dumb.

OK, if I can't "sell" our $23,000.00 Incevik dose here to recoup some the our life's savings we invested OH WELL.

But put the post back and I will give it away :)

Maybe it will save someone's life.  You can't have rules against that can you?

Not if it lands the both of you in the slammer.  smile

Better to work creatively within the rules in this case.

I'm willing if it will save someone's life :)

If it would help I will hand deliver it if need be.  I mean the USA is just not that big if it will save someone.  I just wish there was something more I could do for my wife.  But maybe this Incivek will help someone else somewhere.

Sometimes you have to say the heck with the rules and do what is right.
