I had bad chills and fever all night after first injection, but still have had low grade fever whole afternoon and feeling lethargic. Plus stomach ache and diarrhea as well. Should I raise alarm and call doctor or is it normal to have prolonged low grade fever? Overall, I'm managing this well though.

Ok well I'm in Ca and was diagnosed 2 yrs ago with HCV GT1a for about 30 yrs now. Was on interferon poison and lasted only 5 wks due to multiple hospital visits and transfusions....it was the closest to death I had ever felt.....

I went to my Doctor today. He wrote the prescriptions for my treatment. I will return Friday afternoon and his Medical Assistant will have obtained the drugs and will instruct me on how to inject the peginterferon. I will have ribavirin and Sovaldi as well. HCV genotype 1
