Well I had my 16 week visit today with my NP. Anemia is looking better and still UND. I got the RA under control as well so I'm guardedly optimistic that the final couple of months will fly by. Thanks for being here folks.
After being taken off of the Incivek 12 days ago, my husbands rash is finally subsiding. Now he is getting water blisters on his hands, not quite as large as a dime. Has anyone heard of this or had this problem? We're not sure whether he needs to be seen again or not. As always, thanks for the help.
Yes so Monday it is. Today I went to meet the doc doing the procedure...asked him all kinds of questions. It will be ultrasound guided and he was really nice. He said my bloodwork looked good and it will be over before I know it. He also said something about me laying on my right side after the procedure......
This is my week 8 on the treatment and the itching is at its worse! Needle like sensation coming from under the skin. No Benadryl, no Zyrtec no creams, nothing works! Any other suggestions?
Even though I've already done 7 shots, I still am awkward with doing the injection. Specifically, the part where the plunger needs pulled back, to check whether you've hit a vein or not. I am not good at that at all, have poor manual dexterity, I guess. I've skipped that step altogether, for the last 3 s...
I've heard that if you drink a cup of coffee that it's diuretic properties, will actually deplete water. If so to drink coffee, how many extra cups of water might be needed?

Undetectable today. Anemic so they lowered the Rib dose from 1200 to 800. Thanks to prior member posts, I knew it was not a big deal for it to be lowered. Thanks.
Was diagnosed years ago b12 deficient. Never gave it much thought until recently. 1 week ago the tingling was in my forearms down to my fingertips. Started b12 (Methylcobalamin) 5000 mcg (sublingual) 10:30 am and b12 (Dibencozide) 3000 mcg (sublingual) at 5:30 pm every day. 1 week later the tinglin...
I am new to this forum and am happy to have found it, I just read an excellent post on the side effects and how to deal with them. I just did my 15th injection and I wanted to know if the side effects will ease off as I make my way to number 48? I also wanted to know if anyone has found any benefit to marijuana in e...

Last fall, I had foot surgery to repair a chronic major foot break that was acutely retriggered. I was fortunate that I was back to partial weight bearing by the time that Renee started her treatment regimine and was there for her during the first week of treatment and periodically would spend time to...

Hey guys, I'm just curious how pharmaceutical companies come up with such precise lengths of tx. Does it mean that they give u a little extra just to ensure the success? If not, then what, 27 weeks and 6 days would mean a failure? Not that I want to quit, I'm asking ur opinion because I couldnt find an answ...
