Hi I've got a new symptom! besides insomnia and anxiety I developed night prickling and itchiness feeling under the skin that you cant Scratch. Any recommendations? I will try benadryl, because it kept me up all night.
Has anyone experienced swollen lips and rash on the face. It is very painful.
I would like to quit taking the meds. 12 more weeks might as well be a year.

I'm feeling pretty stupid. I guess we'll be one vial short at the end of treatment and I'm sure the insurance company will love that. Some days it doesn't pay to get up.

Many of my favorite foods now taste terrible. For example, most cereals and anything with chocolate tastes bitter, but ham and most pasta dishes are still OK. In fact most sweets taste lousy. Sometimes they are OK for the first few bites before the nasty aftertaste kicks in. I assume it is from th...
Today will be a week on the triple therapy and for the past 3 days I experience palpitations, chest tightness and burn. Anyone experienced that after taking Incivek?
Finally it is May, and by July at the latest, Renee and I will be living out in the Boston area together. I wish her treatment was over by then, but at least she's doing okay on it. It has been so hard wanting to help out, even to just give a back rub to soothe achy muscles or gently use a cold washcloth on her h...

I had the blessing of meeting one of the scientists that developed incivik the other day. He is the neighbor of a good family friend. It was great for me to meet him and he also liked meeting me because he doesn't normally get to see patients that use the medication he develops. I am going with him and th...

I just got the news; my Labs last Wed (May 2) showed UNDETECTABLE! 2 days before the 8-week mark on May 4. I was at 4.7 million at the start of tx, and went down to 371 at Week 4. Hey guys, I'm 4th week of tx, next week to start boceprevir and want to ask some post-tx questions and think that u can answer better than any doctor to me. Hi guys, once again, what would I do without you. Ok guys, i'm a little confused here about the duration of tx on Victrelis. As you are aware it's usually 28 weeks of tx (4+24) if its UND at week 8. But if it was already UND right after lead in with Interferon and Riba at week 4(RVR), can tx be reduced by some we...
