I got it from my mom when I was a little girl because my parents told me not to use her razor and...that's exactly what I did(oops). I start college in the end o...
I am having great trouble drinking water. I hate the stuff, have tried all added cordial, flavours, juices. I just gag and by sipping, I guess I currently drink about 2 litres/ day. I don't have a rash or skin itch, have some skin dryness, have a dry mouth sometimes but my urine output is normal, and of nor...

Hey Folks--who knew it was hiding in the fog! It has been an amazing first week post-tx. The first 5 days I had the strength of Hercules, the patience of Mother Theresa and slept like a sweet little baby--then I crashed. But in spite of the momentary set-back which was brought on by over doing physically...
Hello all, I have been reading and taking the tips that work for me on this forum. I am a previous non responder prior to the Incevic Tx, with the new ****tail I went from 7mil viral to 34 in two weeks and undetectable at 4 weeks, so very happy so far with results considering the Dr gave me a 15% chance of succ...

The dreaded itch has no word description, it has gotten beyond horrible. This needle like sensation is getting on my nerves and I practically live on Benadryl that doesn't bring a great relief anymore. Never took drugs, but this feels like a withd...
Seem to have lost you, and I recall there were a few of us. 4 2/3 days remaining on Incivek. 12 week labs today. (at 4 weeks the viral load was too low to count but still detectable, thus my dream of only 24 weeks total treatment is out the window). I guess if it's still detectable after today's they may t...
Saw my dr last week. Everything felt right. Wont do blood work or see him again for 3 months. VLs will be done at 3 and 6 months. At 2 weeks post, my white blood labs were all normal but still mildly anemic (HGB at 12.3, up from 10.8). My energy level is way up. Very few naps lately (kind of miss them) and was abl...
How often are is your viral load tested? My husband was UND at 4 weeks and 12 weeks and now they won't test again until 24 weeks. While my memory isn't good, I thought I had read that most have the tests more often?
It's weird, but I'm finding that an ice pack on my head, face, and temples gets me to sleep much quicker. I use one that the Pegasys came in, wrap it in a paper towel, and in bed I move it around my head for 15 minutes or so. I don't know why, but it feels great and is very relaxing.

Hi all
Hope everyone is well. I went for my annual appointment with my consultant today. I went in with a load of questions but left more confused and frustrated. Well after a long spiel about how treatment was now approved and they had money to treat people (tell me something I don't know!!!)and the si...
I live in the U.S. My wife's home business company has offered her a free trip to Paris for her and one other person. Unfortunately the dates of the trip are three weeks before I finish treatment, so I'll have to carry all my meds with me, including the refrigerated ones: Procrit, Neupogen, Victrelis an...
My doctor wants to do a biopsy, and I am not sure why all doctors want to do biopsy. Is it going to hurt my liver? I have been putting it off for a while, please advise. My liver enzyme are back to normal and my viral load have gone down alot. Thanks. Nancy

I do not want to go to the trouble every six months to get ultra sound the rest of my life just to see if I have liver cancer!
I don't want to go thru chasing
Down and waiting on a liver transplant.
Anyone else share my opinion?

Hey guys, if you've been fOllowing the forum, I'm sure you know that I've been suffering with the insane itching. I thought it would be nice for the skin to numb for a few and Lidocane cream came to mInd. Works wonderful! Temporary but wonderful. Blocks the pain receptors in the skin and the pain is gone....
Having had high random blood glucose levels since starting Rx, I saw my Endocrinologist yesterday. He wanted to exclude Insulin Resistance and thyroid problems ( both are common in chronic HCV). So, fasting glucose and insulin this morning, T.S.H. (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) and Vitamin D lev...
Taking Incivek 2 pills 3 times a day, Ribavirin 3 pills 2 times a day and Pegasys once a week. What can I do about the rash and can I take vitamins for energy? Started the medicine a week go. Please help
Monday I started my treatment. Pegasys 180 ug weekly, 3-600 mg RBV am and pm, 1 400 mg GS-7977 each am for 12 wks. They gave me a granola bar to eat, handed me the pills, then gave me the syringe and told me to do it. Summoning up all my male courage I stabbed myself in the stomach, and was amazed that it did...
WTF? I am so sick of this fever! Almost everyday since I stopped treatment, I spike a fever in the evening. It was like this on treatment too, but much lower grade, 99, 100 degrees tops. Now it creeps up to 101, 102, has even gone almost to 103! My GI says nothing to do with treatment, my dermatologist s...
