I was just wondering if anyone on triple with Incivek takes the Incivek and riba together or do you spread it out? Seems like it would be much easier to take both in the AM and in the afternoon, then incevik alone for the last dose of the night. Any thoughts? I know the second dose of riba needs to be taken...
Hi, I know that I'm kind of asking for someone to make me feel better when really I need to wait for the test, however I just wanted to ask a bit of advice. I first contracted Hep C in 2009, went through a year of Interferon and got the all clear in November 2010. I am also HIV positive. I see my HIV doctor ever...
Took my last pills today. I can't wait for the pain to go away now. I had to go to the ER a couple of days ago because of the pain. Per the MD, I'm pretty tore up down and I may need a surgical intervention to fix things. I didn't get the rash but I guess I'm one of the 10% that has a extreme Rx to anal area.
This was posted a while back, but I thought it would be of interest to new members. http://www.hepctrust.org.uk/Resources/HepC/Migrated%20Resources/Documents/SimonTaylor-RobinsonPresentation.pdf

It seems like the longer I am on treatment the more problems I have! I just made an appointment to see the opthamologist. I had a screening before treatment because my doc told me treatment can cause eye problems. I am expierencing burning and fuzzy spots sometimes. Anyone else deal with this? Wh...
Greetings from chilly Northern Utah Glad to have found this board. This is my 2nd round with treatment. The first time was 2005. I responded well to the Peg and Riv but the bugs came back. I'm really looking forward to the use of the Incievk (does that sound crazy or what?) I mean I'm excited with my odds be...

The injection is going to be the hardest part for me. And not so much a fear of my reaction. I get so stressed over the thought of the needle. Tomorrow is injection #2 and I am feeling anxiety over the thought of having to stick myself again (and it is still a day away). Has anyone else gone into this with a...
One of my biggest fears about my husband's upcoming 6 month treatment of Ribavirin and Interferon is that he will become too sick at times to work his job. Without going into too much detail about his work, it is important that he not miss any days. He works Sunday through Thursday, and has Fridays and...
OK, so I'm almost 5 months post treatment. I had an appointment with my Rheumatologist on the ninth and routine blood test revealed a slightly elevated AST, ALT was normal but a bit higher than the previous test. Just to be safe my Hepatologist went ahead and ran a viral load test. Drum roll, still UND....
Well finally I got the results of Viral Load done December 24 I won't see my doctor or nurse until end of month, It says "Hepatitis C rna Viral Load Detected, the result for HCV RNA is below the linear range of the essay which is 15 IU/ml and thus the exact value cannot be calculated" Don't unde...
It appears that Gilead will try to fast-track sofosbuvir, to try to get FDA approval in late 2013 or early 2014. However, this will only be for sofos. + Ribavirin for Geno 2 and 3, and sofos. +Peg + Riba for Geno 1. While I can understand the need to generate some revenue, I'm not sure the Hepatology commu...
