I am grateful it worked! Hopefully others on the 8 week plan will see it does work! Checking again in November. Now hoping I will feel better by then. Thanks to everyone who helped me get to this point. -- Edited by fourlocos on Friday 1st of May 2015 06:12:33 PM
Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. Has anyone still tested negative after 12 weeks post Harvoni treatment? I cannot find much info since the published trials. Thanks so much.
All done! 5th time is a charm I hope! This board has been so important to me throughout the years - good people exist! Questions for my crew: I still have about three weeks of Ribavirin left - I have no side effects with it - should I take it while the Harvoni leaves my body?
As I have said in other posts I am now UND, there is always hope, there's always a well of support from this forum and there are better times ahead. Wish you all well, Nxxx
Hello, For the 6 month SVR viral load blood test, is the 6 month target date for the blood work calculated from the time a person takes their first Harvoni pill or from the time they take their last pill? Thank you, Lon
It's been about 6 weeks since I was diagnosed with genotype 1a. Transmission through IV drug use probably 2-3 months ago - so dumb. Ahhh. Since then I've detoxed off heroin 3 times cold turkey on my own. My body is ravaged from withdrawal. Dr says everything is elevated and I could have some symptoms. So...

My doctor called and left a message: UND on VL and all lab values in normal range. He didn't give exact numbers, but did state that ALT/AST were in the twenties and had a normal/good PTT. I've been pretty confident after reaching SVR 12 that I had slayed the dragon permanently; however, it's still nice t...
Hello everyone! I am sure some of you remember my post about my husband being diagnosed with liver cancer. An MRI showed 3 tumors and the consensus of all the doctors from the liver transplant dept. at Mt. Sinai Hospital was to treat him by doing RADIOEMBOLIZATION to see if the tumors would respond and...
Just took my last pill.....the first 20 weeks were not bad, BUT these last 4 weeks have been a challenge. I have dealt with bronchitis, (still coughing 4 weeks later), sore ribs from coughing, then originally thought I had gout turned out to be pseudogout (Uris acid levels normal), and I am still limp...

Hi all,At the latest Liver Meeting, a paper was presented warning of the dangers of some Herbal products, dietary supplements and food additives. The number of liver toxicity cases from these has more than doubled over the last 8 years. As such products are classed as foods, not drugs, there is no reg...
Just tried to upload an avatar. It succesfully uploaded one I accidentally clicked on--not the one I wanted. So I said remove it. Then I clicked on the one I wanted (from my computer) and it did its little "loading" thing, and then said it had successfully uploaded, but was not visible (t...
Well I almost made it through week one! I'm still having some anxiety. No attacks. It's hard to explain what I feel. I am feeling a mix of mild side effects. I'm constantly scared of germs and catching illness from other people. I keep reason here about bronchitis and post Tx side effects. Should I be afr...
Hi all,At the recent EASL Meeting, Lawitz presented a paper on 24 weeks of Harvoni for previous treatment failures. The following comment caught my attention: ' Patients with no baseline NS-5A RAV's experienced 100% SVR12. Those with baseline RAV's reached SVR12 at 60%' . Also, it was found that 25...
Hi all,In a recent thread, retreating with Harvoni was mentioned for any treatment failures on Viekira Pak. After 4 weeks, I wasn't showing much change and it took another 4 weeks to really start going in the right direction. At end of treatment I was undetectable, but relapsed at EOT + 12...
