Got the call today to start meds next Thursday on the Merck 5172/8742 combo. Its a 12 week, 1 pill day, double blinded placebo trial. Of course I'm hoping I'm in the 75% not on placebo, but even if I'm not, I still get the real thing after 18 weeks. Excited to finally have a hope of being free of this crap....
