Happy Monday everyone! I got my 8 week labs a little early. My PCP was overly worried about my elevated WBC. I had checked in with him after my 2 week labs showed the elevation and my liver doc wanted me to check in with the PCP. He re-ran the labs and WBC was still elevated. Then my liver doc ran my 4 week lab...
I'm still awaiting insurance approval to get on the new meds but am curious about something. First, I want to say this board is a great thing and also it's so wonderful and encouraging seeing all these posts of undetectable virus after being diagnosed for 17 years and going thru the interferon/riba tr...

So instead of going to sleep I am wide awake with the after effects and can't shake that horrible feeling and weird sensations they ca...

Hey All, I couldn't wait for the doctor's office to mail my results (she wouldn't tell me over the phone) so I drove across town this afternoon and picked em up. Got the news I was hoping for, ALT and AST levels in the normal range for 1st time in 12 years and HCV = Not Detected (<15 IU/mL and <1.18...

My friend called today to let me know that she went for a general physical which included basic blood work. There was one test she did not recognize...HCV. well...actually closer to 15 weeks due to my crazy work schedule and my doc's conference/lecture schedule. Still undetected! All my blood chemistry results are beautifully boring and uneventful. The doc said he would check me again in 3 months (6 months post.) ...and then again 12 weeks after that...
I was supposed to go for week 4 EOT labs today, but it is postponed until Thursday due to possible ice storm. I spent the first 2 weeks EOT in bed most of the time. Bad gastro problems last few weeks of tx and they got worse after EOT. Another trial participant posted me privately that she was having simil...
Hi All, For the past week I have been waking up with joint stiffness I've not had before. Every little thing is stiff and working is difficult to say the least. I do get relief from Ibuprophren, but I wonder why this has manifested itself so suddenly? My paranoid mind has me thinking I'm of the 2% who'l...

Since I have had low blood press...

I knew I should have changed doctors before I started. I have been waiting patiently for my 2 weeks lab report only to be told they don't do VL until the end of 12 week treatment (?). I asked the nurse to speak with doc and get back to me on my 4 week coming up. Naturally, I had to call them back. Nurse stated the...
